	SAHARAN ADVENTURE

6 days and 5 nights in the Sahara beginning and ending in Douz.
(Plus 2 nights hotel accommodation.)

For example: Arrive Friday night and transfer from Djerba or Tozeur airport to a small hotel in Douz.

Saturday morning - time to browse the local market before leaving for Ghissia, a Bedouin village on the outskirts of the town and known to some as ‘the capital city of camel drivers’.

Here you join your guide, camels and camel drivers and begin your Saharan adventure.


	You will cook, ride your camels through the Grand Erg Oriental and construct daytime shelters from the midday sun.

Among the high dunes, you will pass dry oases and an abandoned Bedouin village, lost in the sands.

Thursday will be the last day in the Sahara returning to Ghlissia, and then to Douz, for an overnight stay in your hotel before transferring to your departure airport on Friday.
