Visas are not required for British citizens for stays of up to three months, but you will be asked to complete a short immigration card on arrival.

Unfortunately we are unable to arrange flights, so trekkers are responsible for their own arrangements.

Flight times, prices and convenience vary throughout the year and it’s well worth shopping around.

Suggestions

Well-known ‘adapt your own holiday’ websites are a good starting point but their flights sometimes prove expensive, are seldom direct, and can involve many hours travel.

The most direct, economical flights at present are flight only seats on package tour charter flights to Monastir, usually on Sundays and Wednesdays each week. These can be booked at High Street travel agents such as Thomas Cook, or online - for example at www.a1travel.com or www.thomsonfly.com.

We also arrange transfers from Djerba or Tozeur airports, both well-served by Air France and Tunisair via Paris.

Please note: some flights from England to Paris arrive at Charles de Gaulle airport, so allow time for your transfer to Orly airport to connect with your flight if necessary.

Other transfer options:

Road transfers from Tunis are time consuming and expensive, particularly for individuals and small groups. A useful alternative is to travel south by bus or train. These are regular services and offer an efficient and economical alternative to transfer by car. Further information can be supplied on request.
