Your needs will be minimal.

When browsing the local market you will find a pocketful of small change more useful than a wad of notes.

Watering camels

Temperatures vary throughout the year. Please refer to the seasonal info in
Basics to help you plan your needs.

In the Sahara there are no toilets and washing facilities are limited, so ‘wet-wipes’ are essential.

You will also need:
A 3-season sleeping bag
Casual, comfortable clothing - cotton is preferable
Headgear is essential in the heat of the day and there will be time to browse the local market to purchase this (or can be provided if required)
Footwear - sandals are best
A fleece for the night-time.
You may also find a small head torch useful.
Finally, don’t forget a high-factor sunscreen and a good pair of sunglasses.
